Sure, Baylor has an awesome athletic program, but if it wasn't for the strong accounting program (we're somewhere in the top 10 schools in the CPA passing rate), I wouldn't be here. It's too damn expensive.

PROUD TO BE A BAYLOR BEAR
At this point, many college football fans (and other random people surfing the Internet) know that Baylor's very own Robert Griffin III won the Heisman Trophy last night. Though I am not a huge fan of organized sports, (I'm pretty sure I only went to 3 home football games this season), I guess RGIII is awesome advertisement for our already rich school.

BAYLOR BEARS DEFEAT TCU
Yesterday, the Baylor Bears had its season opener versus the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs. It was predicted that TCU would totally dominate, and I even started believing that.
I didn't have faith in my team: big mistake.
Anyway, first of all, I did not realize how big football is in Texas. Even though the game started at 7pm, my friends and I went tailgating at around 4:30. I honestly did not know what in God's green earth what "tailgating" was, and I am waaaay too lazy to define it for you. It was like 110 degrees outside. Yeah, man. There were people passing out because of the heat stroke.
Baylor has a tradition for freshman. It's called the Baylor Line. We, freshmen, go run on the field at the beginning of the game and wear super bulky jerseys and cheer super loud.

Forgive my terrible filming skills. It seriously takes incredible talent to run fast enough not to get run over an to film. OK? Forgive the fool.
Anyway, Baylor started with a huge lead, but unfortunately, they totally got cocky and blew off our comfortable lead. This made for an INTENSE season opener, especially since TCU is ranked #14 in the nation. NOT ANYMORE FROGGIES!! I'm no pro at BCS ranking and all those sporty stuff, but I know the Horned Frogs are going down in the ranking.
Long story short, it was a wonderful experience for me. Not just because it was my first time going to a college football game, but also because I was so involved with the cheers and everything like that.
